Jessica Fooskas is a NYC-based stylist and educator specializing in razor cuts, shag styles, makeup and effortless natural styles. From her cozy studio in Greenpoint Brooklyn, to weddings and special events, Jessica finds joy in letting her clients unleash the best version of themselves and their hair. 

Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jessica went to Metro Beauty Academy in her home state and MUD Makeup Designory in Los Angeles for beauty and special effects makeup. She went on to work for six years under Nick Arrojo, celebrity hair specialist and the resident stylist for TLC’s What Not to Wear, specializing in razor and scissor cuts and educating other stylists with her flair for curly, lived-in styles. She’s travelled to California, Texas, Ireland and London for beauty expos and specialty cutting courses, learning under master stylists like Jayne Matthews and Sharon Blain. Jessica is always honing her skills with the best in the field to keep them fresh and of-the-moment. 

Jessica is trained and an educator for Wella hair color, she uses color as a tool to bring out the best in her haircuts. Her favorite part of a cut is tailoring the style to her client’s needs and teaching them easy techniques to bring it to life when they walk out of the chair. Jessica’s passion for education is the best part of her job, and she enjoys learning both within her field and from the new people she meets every day.

Jessica’s love for travel, great food, pilates and art also informs her hair and beauty practice. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and her French bulldog, Mira, who can often be spotted in the studio, ready for a snuggle.
